NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

נווה פריצקי Canada is in the process, like the United States, to surpass the number of tourists who visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada had 7,200 visitors while August witnessed 6,600.

We are still not far from our record 2019 numbers and we expect that this increase in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians find it easier to travel abroad."

Israel received more than 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 were from the United States. The country's official reopening to all travelers in May was a success, with more than 600,000.
